Fairway
A golf course with a word prompt
Fairway turns word answers into golf shots. Read a prompt, choose an answer with the right rarity and finish five holes in as few strokes as possible.

Common answers travel 40–60 yards; rarer tiers travel farther. Use the remaining distance to choose a tier.
Landing within 25 yards reaches the green. An answer that is too rare can overshoot; more than 45 yards beyond the pin adds a penalty.
On the green, use a common answer to sink the putt. Complete the five holes with as few strokes as possible.
Fewest strokes wins. Rarity controls distance, not a score to maximise: Common 40–60y, Uncommon 80–120y, Rare 140–180y, Legendary 200–240y and Mythic 260–300y.
Observed on November 2, 2026. Prompt: name something a walker might carry for changing weather.
| Action | Distance to pin | Stroke counter |
|---|---|---|
| Before answering | 284 yards | 1 |
| Entered umbrella and swung | 228 yards | 2 |
This shot moved 56 yards toward the pin. The same answer may receive a different result for another prompt or game version.
