Sky wants the most common response; Abyss wants a rare one. Past asks for the oldest fitting answer and Future the most recent. Each has its own daily seven-question game.
Type the person, place, film or other name the prompt asks for. In Past and Future, the game compares the associated year, so enter the name rather than just a year.
You have 30 seconds per question, or 40 in Abyss. If an answer is refused, try another fitting answer while time remains. Read the result before moving to the next question.
Each accepted answer earns up to 100 points according to the selected mode. The gold Perfect result marks the strongest answers; Excellent, Great, OK and Weak follow below it.
The same valid answer can suit one goal better than another. Check the mode before typing.
| Mode | Aim for | Time per question |
|---|---|---|
| Sky | The most common fitting answer | 30 seconds |
| Abyss | The rarest fitting answer | 40 seconds |
| Past | The oldest fitting answer | 30 seconds |
| Future | The most recent fitting answer | 30 seconds |
Each answer is worth up to 100 points. Seven answers make a maximum of 700 for one mode, or 2,800 across all four daily games.
The Clueffy Day 30 post shows Wonderhop’s Future mode in a pixel-art city. Enter a name that fits the question; the game uses its associated year to compare how recent it is. Eraly instead asks you to enter a year.

A pixel world in four directions
Yes. Sky, Abyss, Past and Future are free to play in a browser without an account. Hop Pass adds Unlimited, recent archives and themed packs.
Type the name requested by the prompt. Wonderhop compares its associated date. For example, a film question uses the release year of the film you name.
A new set opens at midnight in Montreal, in the Eastern time zone. Players get the same questions for that day.
The Day 30 Wonderhop video shows Future, the mode that rewards the most recent fitting answer.
