Connect the fields

The four references point to the same word from different topics. Clues progress from toughest to easiest.

Spend clues carefully

The first clue is free. The remaining clue cards show costs of one, two and three stars, so read a card’s price before opening it.

Use letter feedback

After a guess, the game reports how many letters are in exactly the right position. Combine that count with the clues rather than treating it as a full answer.

Start with ten stars and four guesses. Paid clue reveals and incorrect guesses reduce the stars; your score is what remains when you solve the word.
